Time arises in the experience of duration

I am seeking for tranquillity in the overwhelming amount of images. Not directly as a protest or opposition, but more as a sensitive consciousness. I try to create a breathing space, a stillness. In which it is possible to become aware of the act of looking, and what you are looking at.

With a pinhole camera as a reflection-instrument, I go for walks in natural environments where human presence is minimal. These landscapes feel like open spaces where I have the opportunity to take time. Taking time to be absorbed by the natural environment and to be there with open senses.

I try to transfer this experience on the basis of images. I am well aware that maybe it is impossible to convey exactly this elusive experience in images. I keep looking for ways to transfer this specific experience.
